Askiisoft says it is still working on the long-awaited Katana ZERO DLC, which has grown to “the size of a full sequel.” The developer also says the expansion will include more than 30 new songs. The update appeared on October 22, 2026, alongside a short teaser.

That gives players the clearest sense yet of the project's current scope, but it does not mean Askiisoft has announced a separate sequel. The studio has not shared a release date or described the new levels and story.

Release plans are still unclear

The DLC was previously described as free in Devolver Digital's 2025 teaser. Askiisoft's latest update does not confirm whether that plan still stands, so its price and release timing remain unknown.
