Octopus Panic has announced an October 12 demo for GRAVHOUNDS, with seven planets across two solar systems and a new Mod Deck Builder. The studio's October 7 Steam announcement lists four playable Gravhounds, Selene, Zane, Dozer and Finn, and says demo progress will not carry into its planned November 2026 Early Access release.

The deck builder changes which upgrades players can receive during expeditions. Players choose 10 common Mods and up to two Showstoppers from their unlocked library, and reward pods draw only from that selection. The deck can change between expeditions as players try different builds.

The demo also lets groups enter multiplayer without completing the tutorial first. Solo play still requires tutorial completion. Other changes include a free ground dash, adjustments to pipeline grinding and combat balance, and multiplayer fixes.

GRAVHOUNDS is a one-to-four-player co-op action builder about canine workers building and defending operations on hostile planets. Staying longer increases both the danger and the potential rewards.

TheSixthAxis reports that the Steam demo opened on October 12 and runs through October 18. The official post checked here announces its October 12 start but does not state that closing date. Check the Steam page for current access.
